Milla Jovovich, Paul W.S. Anderson Both Return for ‘Resident Evil: Retribution’!

Milla Jovovich is returning again as “Alice” in Resident Evil: Retribution. Milla has played the role in all of the Resident Evil films and I am glad that she is back.

I have to admit that even though I make it a point to go to the movies and support just about any video game movie that comes out in hopes of helping Hollywood want to take on bigger and bigger projects, I have not watched the last the last Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D.

Resident Evil (2002) was an excellent video game film that got me excited about the probabilities of the series but then came ‘Apocalypse’, ‘Extinction’ and ‘Afterlife’. I managed to see ‘Apocalypse’ which was OK but I could not manage to watch ‘Extinction’ with out telling my self I was doing it for a greater cause. Sadly I haven’t even seen ‘Afterlife’ yet but something about the footage that I have seen tells me there is no rush.

Since the news of Milla coming back for a fourth film in the series just hit the net I think I am going to help the video games movies genre out a little this weekend by renting ‘Afterlife’. I think that all video game fans should take on this humble vow – I promise to watch most video games movies in order to keep Hollywood studios interested in making more in the future.
